Whirlwind is great at dealing heaps of damage to large mobs after you’ve accumulated 300 or more Strength. It has a long cooldown and high energy cost so don’t depend on it as your only ability.
Whirlwind – Bladed Cripple
With this skill at max level, it has a high chance to add a cripple ailment stack to damage foes. Each level of the skill will also increase Strength.

When using Whirlwind against large mobs Bladed Cripple is a nice to have. Enemies will continue to take damage even after your stop spinning.
Whirlwind – knockdown
With this skill at max level, Whirlwind now does additional damage and can knockdown foes. Each level of the skill will also increase Strength.
